We have pleasure in announcing the 16th International Symposium on Carotenoids that will be held from the 17th  to the 22nd of July 2011 in Kraków, an old capital and strong academic center of Poland.

The program of the Symposium will cover both the traditional fields of carotenoid research as well as new developing areas. We expect that the Symposium will be an excellent platform to show recent achievements and future trends in carotenoid research. An accompanying exhibition of  companies presenting carotenoid-related products and technologies will contribute to promotion of  their activities and will create an opportunity for exchange of information between science and business.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 16th International Symposium on Carotenoids I cordially invite everyone interested in the world of carotenoids to take part in the Symposium and also to reserve extra time for enjoying the charms and atmosphere of old Krakow, its numerous historical monuments and interesting surroundings.
